Explore on two wheels
Whether you’re a road cyclist or a mountain-biking enthusiast, you’ll be spoilt for choice. From the challenging Tour de France and Tour of Yorkshire Buttertubs Pass route to more leisurely routes, we are ideally located to explore the area by bike.We have a selection of recommended routes available to follow or make your own adventure. Scenic Hiking
Whether just passing through on the Dales Way or use us as a central hub to wonder the Lake District peaks and beyond, we have guides and routes to help you not miss the many hidden gems in the area.Then wash your kit with our rainwater harvested boot wash and hop into the hot tub or relax on the decking outside your pods to watch the sunset.
WHAT TO SEE
Dentdale
Dentdale is at the western end of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The dale's steep-sided valley contrasts beautiful flower-filled meadows and lush riverside pastures with the sparser grassy upland of the fells.
Wensleydale Creamery
If like Wallace (and us!) love a bit of Wensleydale cheese, we are only a short drive from where it's all made. Find out how its produced, sample new flavours, then head out to explore Hawes and the stunning area.
Iconic Lake District
With its World Heritage Site status, The Lake District is truly breathe taking. The Lake District National Park offers a wide range of activities and attractions, as well as the natural beauty of the entire region.
WHERE TO EAT
Local Pubs and Cafes
Just a five-minute walk into the village of Dent, there are 2 pubs and several cafes to enjoy a lunchtime snack or drinks in the evening. Why not sample Dent's very own beer, brewed in the dale.
Award Winning Resturants
We are lucky to have some amazing award-winning restaurants to eat near Dentdale Pods.
Barbecue under the stars
Why not hire our fire pit/barbecue and enjoy some locally produced products. We will supply all the fire making equipment, you just need to add the food.
